The Stamp Duty Holiday ( 2min 13 sec Watch)
All this week we have been running a series of posts and videos relating to the stamp duty holiday which will come to an end on the 30 June in it's current format. After this date, until the end of September, there will be a staggered return to previous Stamp Duty rates.
What all this means is that buyers won't have to pay Stamp Duty on the first £250,000 of the purchase price.
Residential rates on purchases from 1 July 2021 - 30 September 2021:
£0-£250,000 = 0%
£250,000-£925,000 = 5%
£925,001-£1,500,000 = 12%
