Updated How To Rent Guide Now Published

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has published an updated How to Rent guide – the checklist for renting in England at 10am this morning.

The updated How to Rent guide must be issued by both letting agents and landlords to new tenants or those renewing.
The latest versions incorporate recent legislative changes in the Tenant Fees Act 2019 along with references to Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards Regulations and Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020.
